Anne Eckert, Au.D., CCC-A serves as Administrative Director of Rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. She is active in audiology affairs in the state of NJ and serves in the capacity of secretary and past President of the NJ State Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Committee. Dr. Eckert has also served as a board member of both the New Jersey Academy of Audiology and the NJ State Hearing Aid Dispenser’s Examining Committee. She is also an adjunct professor at Montclair State University.
With over twenty-five years of clinical experience, Dr. Eckert has published in the area of Balance Assessment and on the topic of Electrophysiological Measurement of Auditory Processing Disorders (APD) in Normal Children and in Children with Auditory Processing Disorders.
Dr. Eckert earned her degrees from the George S. Osborne School of Audiology at Salus University (Au.D.), Monmouth University (M.B.A.), Ball State University (M.A.), and Montclair University (B.A.).

Virginia Gural-Toth, Au.D., CCC-A manages the audiology programs at JFK. Besides keeping abreast of the newest advances in hearing aid technology, she has also been trained in various methods of tinnitus treatment including Tinnitus Retraining Therapy. She has lectured on these and other subjects at various professional conferences and written several articles on hearing, balance and auditory processing disorders. She has also published articles on both evoked potential testing and auditory processing.
Dr. Toth has 25 years of clinical experience with both adults and pediatrics who have hearing, balance and auditory processing problems.  Dr. Toth earned her degrees from the George S. Osborne School of Audiology at Salus University (Au.D.), Hunter College (M.A.), and Trenton State College (B.S.).

Sara Esther Kader, Au.D., CCC-A enjoys the challenge of difficult to test patients and the diagnosis and treatment of the hearing impaired, particularly pediatrics. She is invigorated by the continued advances in hearing aid technology. She has recently begun facilitating our hearing aid education program and enjoys that opportunity to educate and to learn from patients about the challenges they face.
Dr. Kader, has been practicing for 13 years and joined us in 2005. Before joining the department she worked at St. Barnabas Outpatient Center in Livingston and at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.  Dr. Kader earned her degrees from the George S. Osborne School of Audiology at Salus University (Au.D.), and Towson University (M.S., B.A.).

Betty Needleman, Au.D., CCC-A

Betty Needleman, Au.D., CCC-A has a special interest in testing the pediatric population, as well as the “difficult to test” patient. She particularly enjoys building relationships with hearing aid patients that extend for many years. Dr. Needleman has been a member of the department for 10 years. Prior to joining the department, she was employed at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, several medical offices, Bellevue Hospital / New York University Hospital, as well as Kessler Institute. Dr. Needleman earned her degrees from the George S. Osborne School of Audiology at Salus University (Au.D.), Ohio University (M.A.) and SUNY at Buffalo (B.A.).

Regina Criscione, Sc.D., CCC/A

Dr. Criscione has been a staff member since 2007. She has a special interest in dispensing hearing aids to the adult population.  She provides diagnostic audiologic and hearing aid services at our satelitte office "The Outpatient Center at Monroe". She participates in numerous health fairs in the Monroe Township area. Dr. Criscione earned her degress from Montclair State University (Sc.D), Teachers College Columbia university (MS) and Marymount Manhattan College (BA).

 Dr. Aspell,  has been a staff member since 2012.  Dr. Aspell began her career in 2006 as a Hearing Instrument Specialist before returning to school to obtain her doctorate.  She received her doctorate from Vanderbilt University.  Dr. Aspell is a graduate of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program and holds a pediatric specialty. She was recently awarded Vanderbilt’s Jay W. Sanders Award for Honors in Audiology. She has a special interest in adult amplification and current publications include:
